Viburnum tinus 'Spirit' is a refined variety of viburnum tinus, an evergreen shrub typical of Mediterranean areas, also known as viburnum. This shrub grows rapidly, with a compact habit and densely packed branches. Its dark green leaves are leathery, ovate, and have regular margins. What distinguishes Viburnum tinus 'Eve Price' is its remarkably early flowering, starting in winter and continuing until early spring. Its flowers, gathered in flat cymes about 10 cm in diameter, are pink when in bud and open to a bright white.
This shrub is hardy and adapts well to pruning, as well as being resistant to air pollution. Its dense, compact growth habit makes it a popular choice for ornamental hedges.
