Pisan

A late-maturing plant with a medium-vigorous tree and intermediate growth habit. Productivity is good and consistent, but fruiting is predominantly on the flowering shoots, so it takes a little longer to reach full production. While it doesn't seem to be very picky about rootstocks, vigorous ones tend to yield better results.
Flowering occurs late, allowing the plant to avoid spring frosts. Flowering is intense and highly fertile, as the plant is self-compatible and does not require pollinators.
The fruit is ovate to elliptical in shape, symmetrical with respect to the suture line in longitudinal section, while in transverse section it is round-elliptical or elliptical. It is large in size, with a rounded apex and the absence of an umbo. The suture line is moderately deep, and the peduncle cavity is of medium depth and width. The epidermis is smooth, with a yellow background and a red blush that extends over about a third of the surface.
The flesh is light orange in color and has a very good flavor, while showing high resistance to handling, ensuring a good shelf life of the fruit even after harvesting.
