This variety is medium-large, almost spherical in shape, slightly flattened, and has a hollowed tip. The skin is a beautiful purple color, thin, with a light waxy sheen and a delicate bloom. The flesh is initially green, but turns yellow as it ripens, and is characterized by a firm texture and great juiciness. It is easily removed from the stone and is pleasantly sweet. Ripens around August 10th.
