This winter variety has a vigorous, upright plant. The fruits are medium-sized and slightly flattened. The thick rind is initially yellowish-green, but becomes intensely streaked with bright red when fully ripe.
The flesh is white, very firm and compact, moderately juicy, and has a sweet flavor with a pleasant acidic note. It is moderately aromatic and has good organoleptic characteristics.
The Annurca apple harvest period occurs two to three weeks after that of the Golden Delicious.
