This variety ripens in autumn and winter and is a very vigorous tree, with good and consistent fruit production that develops primarily on shoots. Its limited affinity with quince suggests using an intermediate or clonal graft, although the latter may reduce the characteristic bronze color. It's important to note that self-rooting of micropropagated trees tends to lighten the fruit's skin.
The fruit is large, with a rust-colored skin, while the pulp has a medium consistency and is characterized by a sweet, aromatic, and very delicate flavor. The ideal harvest time is the second ten days of September.
