Brogiotto White

The Brogiotto Bianco Fig is a majestic tree, probably the largest of all figs, and stands out for its consistently high productivity throughout its ripening period.
The leaves of this plant are characterized by a three- or five-lobed shape, and can sometimes be entire. They are always green, with a yellowish-green hue.
The fruit is produced from mid-August to mid-September, but in warmer climates, harvest can extend until mid-October. The figs are medium-large in size, top-shaped, with a compressed crown and a tapering color toward the stem, almost devoid of a neck. The thin skin is light green during early ripening, but turns pale yellow when the fruit is ripe, with longitudinal white fissures and a loose fit. The pulp, a delicious red-amber color, is exquisite on the palate.
